MONTHLY BOARD MEETINGS

All community members are welcome to attend monthly board meetings. Meetings are held in the new Saanich Neighbourhood Place building behind Pearkes Recreation Centre. Agendas are posted to this site a few days before the board meeting.

CLIMATE AND ENVIRONMENT WORKING GROUP 
Chair: Paul Savinkoff

The purpose of this group is to act in support of GT parks, boulevards, gardens and waterways - be they managed or wild - and to address the impacts of climate change through mitigation and adaptation. Email to contact the GTCA for more details about the group.

LAND USE WORKING GROUP
Chair: Phil Lancaster 

The purpose of this group is - amongst other things - to address, both reactively and proactively, all kinds of buildings, retrofits and new developments; to consider multimodal transportation and parking; and to promote the creation of new parks in our neighbourhood. ARTS AND CELEBRATION WORKING GROUP 
Chair: Reb Stevenston

The purpose of this group is to promote all things artistic in our neighbourhood - public art installations, performing arts, art shows etc. If you want to join others interested in the arts, email the GTCA for more details about the group.

FOOD RESILIENCE WORKING GROUP 
Chair: To Be Determined

The purpose of this group is to promote activities that enhance the resilience of our local food system within the context of our changing supply chains and climate.  For more details about the group, email the GTCA.

BOULEVARD BRIGADES 

Are you an avid gardener and have an interest in meeting people and beautifying our neighbourhood? This group of dedicated individuals helps to plant and maintain the traffic circles and boulevards in our neighbourhood. To find out more email us.
